Wisconsin needs a renewable energy policy that provides ethanol as a fuel choice to improve air quality, grow Wisconsin’s economy, and reduce our dependency on foreign oil.

ETHANOL needs to be a renewable fuel choice in Wisconsin.
The way to guarantee market choice for renewable fuels is to make Ethanol available. Consumers don't get to choose because some oil companies won’t provide Ethanol unless required.

ETHANOL is good for the environment.
Ethanol made from corn is a clean burning fuel and reduces greenhouse gas emission 12-19 percent compared with conventional gas.

ETHANOL means economic development.
Ethanol plants in Wisconsin provide new jobs and an expanded tax base.

ETHANOL means lower gas prices.
On average fuel blends using 10 percent ethanol are 10 cents cheaper than fuels that don't use ethanol.

ETHANOL means energy independence.
Ethanol reduces the need to import 128,000 barrels of oil per day. Wisconsin can have cleaner air while reducing our dependence on foreign oil.
